Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China Screens Preview
This is not new news, but recently there have been release of Screenshots of the upcoming DLC which kind of reminds me of a badass Mulan Disney story mode. Now as many of us know the Assassin’s Creed story spans throughout generations, but so far we only had one other that had a female assassin in “Liberation” and now we have a new story touching down on China with Shao Jun who is based in the 16th century. I am impressed on the style they have chosen for this story, but instead of talking about it, see for yourself.
China,1526. Shao Jun, the last remaining Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood has returned to her homeland with a vendetta. Newly trained by the legendary Ezio Auditore, she is hell-bent to exact vengeance and restore her fallen brotherhood.
Not sure where the DLC stands at this point, but hopefully Ubisoft will fix the issues in Unity so this DLC can happen or just release it separate direct to download. I am pretty impressed and would even enjoy this as a handheld title.
- EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF BEING A STEALTHY ASSASSIN
Use martial arts and all-new Assassin gear, like the Jian Sword and Foot Blade, to take on groups of your enemies in all-out combat, or stealthily pick them off one-by-one.
- DIVE INTO A VIBRANT CIVILIZATION IN AN EXCITING TIME PERIOD
Travel across China and its legendary landmarks. Stalk enemies from the roofs of the Forbidden City, hide in the shadows of The Great Wall, meet iconic historical figures and experience this great Empire in the 16th Century during the Ming Dynasty.
- PLAY IN A TRUE LIVING PAINTING:
Enjoy unique art direction inspired from traditional brush paintings.
The preview looks promising, but thankfully this one survived the cancellation of the season passes. This came from TheEscapist.com where Ubisoft will gift those that pre-purchased the season pass with a free Ubisoft title.
Pre-purchasers of the Season Pass, as well as anyone who bought the special Gold Edition of the game, will be able to choose between the following games as their compensation:
- The Crew
- Far Cry 4
- Watch Dogs
- Assassin’s Creed Black Flag
- Rayman Legends
- Just Dance 2015
So, on that note Ubisoft thanks for not cancelling this one, because playing in a living painting style game with an awesome female assassin would be a great experience. I hope you enjoyed this preview Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. Check back for an update on the DLC status. Stay frosty gamers.
