Games, Delays and Battlefield 2018 News
What is up gamers it is I Beast Gamer Kuma here with your weekly update as we are starting off February with some interesting news for a few titles, a Delay and of course Battlefield 2018. Join me won’t you?
In EA News:
First off, the highly anticipated game from EA Anthem is going through a major Delay and before you, gamers out there start whining, keep in mind that delays are okay at times. I rather have a game delayed and polished than rushed out the door broken. Now the report states that the game will be released between Q1 and Q4 of 2019 via the Wall Street Journal. Now, this is a smart move because EA didn’t want to release a new title with against a fan-chise (get it?) like the new Battlefield which is scheduled for an October 2018 release date. As a colleague of mine stated that is a smart move on their part and do not want to shoot themselves in the foot on sales.
“It’s not a delay,” EA’s CFO Blake Jorgensen told The Wall Street Journal. “People are trying to create a story.”
So, that being said there was a lot of hope from gamers, but officially EA never had a release date at all. It wasn’t until EA had their own press conference which had more details and they determined that 2019 would be a better year for their baby to stand up on its own. Good for you EA! As for Battlefield, there are no further details on the title that most of you don’t already know. However, many hope it hits Vietnam, but as for me I say go back to modern combat since that was fun and brought a unique storyline to the franchise. Remember to always move forward, but I want to read your thoughts, please share in the comments below.

Fan Service Fighter:
In fighting game news and I know I am late on this, but I finally got to check out SNK Heroines which features some interesting fanservice in the genre of Boobilation, fetish outfits and combat styles many gamers might get into. Let’s be real here I enjoy games like Senran Kagura, Dead or Alive, Onichambura and many other titles. I know a few of my gaming buddies of the opposite sex that do too. So when I found out that SNK is stepping into this genre, I giggled a bit.
It is the 40th anniversary of SNK so why not celebrate with some amazing combat with a dash of T&A? However, I have to agree with my colleague Emochi on this one about Mai who is sporting a cow bikini because yes she is blessed in certain areas that can associate with milk and utters. However, Mai is a master of the Shiranui school and yes her sex appeal is a tactic of distraction when fighting opponents. It is working and what is really shocking or rather impressive is that Nintendo is releasing this title on the switch. Good on you Nintendo which is showing more gumption again with their games since getting the rights to Bayonetta and we all know how tempting she is.
I will definitely get a switch to play this title for sure. SNK Heroines will be release Summer 2018, but be sure to check out Play-Asia.com to pre-order and yes it helps us out in the long run by making purchases through our site.
