Marvel’s Spider-Man Review

Ladies and gents it’s Shadowjin here and welcome back to another review here on Kumazoku! Today we’re swinging into the brand-new Spider-Man game and let me tell you, this game is ridiculously amazing! They did not let us down not one bit at all! As a big Marvel fan is super happy that this game exists right now. Everything from the story, to the combat mechanics, to the missions, to the swinging mechanics, to the…… We’re just going to talk about all of it! There’s just so much to love about this game that there was I barely anything things that I didn’t like. First thing I want to talk about is the story. Of course, without spoiling for those who haven’t gotten through this spectacular story that Insomniac Games put together.

E3 2018 Devil May Cry 5 Reveal

What’s up everyone, it’s ShadowJin here and we just got a huge freaking reveal at E3 that’ll have you in awe and be wanting to do stylish combos all over the place. DEVIL MAY CRY 5 HAS FINALLY BEEN ANNOUNCED! That’s right, you read that correctly. Devil May Cry 5 is coming back and they’re not holding anything back with this being a direct sequel to Devil May Cry 4.

Xbox E3 2018 Gears of War 5 Reveal

What’s up, everybody! It’s ShadowJin here bringing you some news about all the cool games and stuff coming from E3. With it being the E3 week we’re getting tons of reveals and it’s only going to get better. Microsoft pulled out some of the big guns that many were hoping to see and I’m pleased to say they definitely delivered by showing off an emotional and exciting Gears of War 5 trailer. However, things are being spiced up a bit with Kait being the main character in this installment. Kait is on a very personal journey to understand exactly what’s going on with her.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Review

What’s up people? It’s ShadowJin here and just last week Capcom released their 30th-anniversary HD collection of the Street Fighter Series. Now I’ve been a huge Street Fighter fan since I was around the age of 3 or 4. I remember having Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting and then Street Fighter 2 New Challengers on Sega. My brother and my Mom would play it from time to time but, I was always on it. So, when this was announced I was already excited to relive those memories. I mean, you get 12 classic Street Fighter games in their original arcade versions and some really cool artwork for those games. How can you not be excited about it? If you pre-ordered it you also got Ultra Street Fighter 4 which is a nice little deal for $40. The big question though is whether it’s worth it or is it just another Capcom quick cash grab?

Devil May Cry HD Collection Review

What makes a good series? Is it the story, the badass moments, a protagonist with a slick tongue and the skills to back it up, or is it some of the coolest bosses that you encounter throughout your journey? Whatever it is the Devil May Cry series has exactly what you need for a badass hack and slash series. The big question is: Does it still hold up?

Sea of Thieves Review

Ahoooy mates it’s ShadowJin here and throughout the years we’ve seen pirate games come and go. However, we’ve never seen one on a scale this big. Sea of Thieves for the Xbox One and Windows 10 invites you to its open sea world filled pirates, ship battles, undead skeletons, Booty (treasure, get your mind out the gutter otherwise you’ll be walking the plank!), hidden underwater mysteries and the worst of them all… The Kraken! Does it live up to the hype or does it sink into the unknown deep sea of the abyss?

TMNT Injustice 2 DLC Review

What’s up everybody! It’s ShadowJin out here and as we all know (and for those who don’t know) Injustice 2 has had some interesting DLC characters. Some were surprising like Hellboy and some were kind of expected like Sub- Zero from the Mortal Kombat universe due to the fact NetherRealm studios works on both Injustice and Mortal Kombat. Plus Scorpion was in the last Injustice so no big shocker there. However, NetherRealm studios decided to up the ante and gave us possibly the best guest character(s) in a fighting game. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

The Evil Within 2 Review

Check out our review of The Evil Within and DLC.

What’s up everybody! ShadowJin here and we’re diving into the mad mind of Bethesda’s The Evil Within 2! The first Evil Within definitely was a big surprise hit for me when it came out in 2014. The Evil Within series is directed by Shinji Mikami who is well known for directing the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil 4. If anyone knows how to make a good horror game it’s definitely this guy for sure! For those who have never played the first one, you might feel a bit left out. There’s tons of mind games being played on you, very little ammo, and horrors waiting for you behind every corner. Good Sebastian Castellanos is back and this time it’s a little more personal. This sequel takes place 3 years after the events that happened in Beacon. Sebastian is haunted by what happened at Beacon, his wife has disappeared and he’s still mourning the death of his Daughter. Okay so I’m just going, to be honest here… My homie Sebastian is dealing with a lot and I can’t blame him. Unfortunately, Sebastian is about to have his world flipped upside down yet again when he finds out some revealing news about his daughter. Now I’m not going to spoil the plot but, it’s actually pretty damn good. That’s all I going to say about it.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Review

What’s up everybody! It’s ShadowJin here and today I want to talk to you about my thoughts on the new Marvel vs Capcom game. Now I know some of you may be thinking ” Didn’t that come out last week?” The reason why I decided to take my time to review this game is because there’s a lot of negativity around it due the roster and the art style of the game. I can completely understand that because, I’m a big fan of the series but, even I was nervous about this game coming out. I myself wanted to see newer characters as well as characters that have not been used in a long time. Asura *cough cough*. Instead, they used a ton of characters from Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Not many people were happy with that, including me. The art style of the game has also thrown people off. Anyone who saw the trailer that hyped the demo can definitely agree that characters like Chun Li and Dante looked terrible. There were even comments about the game looking more like a mobile game. Big question is whether or not it’s a complete disaster.

Injustice 2 DLC Follow up

What’s up, Ladies and Gentlemen. It’s ShadowJin back again and this time I want to do a little bit of a follow-up on the DLC characters in the first of three packs to come out for Injustice 2. The first pack of fighters contains Red Hood, Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat and as well as Starfire. Each of these characters are really fun to play with and add some new ways to deal with opponents. The first one to come out was Red Hood who has his twin pistols blazing, the second is none other than the deadly Lin Kuei Master Sub-Zero and, last but not least following his release is the lovely fellow Teen Titan, Starfire. The gear for these characters is pretty cool. Some of the shaders are sweet Easter egg nods to other characters. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the intros are definitely worth watching! The first character I’m going to talk about is Red Hood.
