Diablo Immortal is Happening, Deal With it!

Yo, you mobile players are getting something cool that will make your gaming fun on your phone. Diablo Immortal is now coming to the mobile devices and it is a good move on Activision’s part. Also before I continue this is what I want to say to all you naysayers out there that didn’t take this news well. (Ahem) “F**K ALL Y’ALL!”

Diablo Immortal is a Great Idea!

Now, real talk. Who the hell you think you are bashing people for being excited about a mobile video game. I will have to admit when the first stages of Mobile titles came out, i.e Candy Crush. I was part of that pack calling people out for not being real gamers. I was wrong and because technology has come a long way. Mobile devices are just as good as playing on a handheld. You didn’t scream bloody murder when Nintendo Switch got the title.

Guess what, you can take it mobile as well. Here is where I ask, “How is this hurting you?” Do you not want more fans to gravitate more funds to the franchise? I mean it would be ideal to gather more fans to your favorite title no matter the platform. I thought we were done with this mess, but here we are again. Attacking fellow gamers of their excitement. Let’s take a look at this new mobile title.

I have tried to see it on the fan side of things on why they so angry. What I came up with is whining and unethical behavior for a franchise they so-called love. A business is sharing their game with others is not a horrible move. I can only see the bad in it if they try to utilize their game to just bleed mobile users out of their money in unfair pay to win situations.

Diabolo Immortal Lore:

“The Worldstone lies shattered, yet great power remains within its corrupted fragments. The power that Diablo’s minions hope to harness to bring about the return of the Lord of Terror. The Archangel Tyrael is presumed dead, and mankind is left to deal with the aftermath of his actions. Fragments of the corrupted Worldstone taint the land, bringing forth ancient evils who are looking to harvest the stone’s power and use it to control humanity.”

Demonic Details:

Diablo Immortals will be a massive multiplayer always online mobile experience which is a collab project with NetEase. If you ever played this top-down dungeon crawler experience taking it on the go is a pretty cool idea. Be on the go as long as you have a net connection to battle evil, crawl through many dungeons and of course obtain epic loot to better your character. I will most likely choose a monk class, but I do hope they allow players to have an offline feature.

For example, I am a New Yorker on the train mostly, so connections can drop. I just hope the game can continue until I get a new connection or while I am in the dungeon doing my thing. We shall see, but I myself will no doubt go for the Monk class because I dig on the class no matter what format I play it on.

A Game is a Game is a Game!

Back to you lot that are harassing developers, coming down on anyone that likes the idea or whining thinking your game is being destroyed. Shut up! This is a business that is catering to all fans and this time they are giving those with phones like everyone a chance to play their game too. We are just going to have to wait and see how this all turns out.

Head on over to the Diablo Immortal website and pre-register now. Try to be civil when sharing your thoughts. I am interested in some constructive reason on why some of you feel this is a bad idea. – Beast Out
