Yup, we received a free controller to review thanks to Brook Games and I just wanted to get that out the way for reasons that people may feel deceived. All right with that being said let’s talk gaming and let’s talk about the tools we use to perform such amazing god-like skills. I have said for years that it is not the controller but the user behind the controller that sets the bar between newb and hardcore gamer. It all comes down to all these different controllers that claim to offer precision inputs and enhances your performance. A few gamers shared the same thought that I did when I was younger, because instead of something that enhances you why not a controller that can be played on all systems like a universal remote? We getting there folks.
Have a seat Activision! Do you like making your consumers happy? Of course, you do, because video games make people happy and by those assumption developers and publishers intentions are to bring joy to those that want to be a digital warrior. I mean, there is nothing like grabbing a controller and pressing that start button to be put in a world where you can be anything and earn experience through your own skill. Granted not everyone has the ability of many skilled gamers, but should that open up a world of deception? Oh, don’t be so shocked by the word, since it has recently been revealed of such acts that we had to go back and think of said games we played…DO YOU DENY THIS? (silence) Oh, not talking huh? We are going to look through this thoroughly, so sit tight.
Sorry for the misleading title, but to be clear we are discussing the idea around raids being questionable for certain games. So far, I keep thinking about raids in a general scope of endurance with tough opponents and having to grind to reach a certain level to survive. This concept has been mostly in MMORPG’s and in many cases, regular RPG’s where you have to level up your team to tackle certain obstacles before you reach the main boss. Can raids work in games outside the MMORPG genre?
Today was the reveal of Destiny 2 world premiere and it is looking like we are going to have to go out and get vengeance as this new foe has not only taken our home but has stripped us of our powers! There is a new threat and even though some may feel that the story has been done before, it is more about how fun they make it with us gamers.
Greetings gamers all! Springtime is finally upon us on this beautiful day in NYC, and over the weekend it was filled with gaming, news, previews and a slight video game hangover! There should be a tonic for that sort of thing, I kid you not. Anyway, this weekend was full of reveals, harsh climates, and upcoming excitement. This is not going to be too long because I know you are out there conquering the latest titles and storming those castles.
On Friday, Bungie revealed a bit more to gamers about the upcoming live event for Destiny 1 called, “Age of Triumph“. This new event will be the great closing to an interesting adventure as we soon begin a new with the sequel. Now many of us have had a question, especially me concerning about my character that I spent months on across two platforms. I have a 400 titan on PS4 and a 393 Titan on Xbox One. Yes, I am a titan user and proud of it and thanks to Bungie’s post they answer a few of our questions.
