You’ve ever built a Gundam? Do you remember you the first time you saw a Gundam series and was like, “Damn I want to pilot that?” The first time I watched Gundam was the Wing series and it was the XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe piloted by Duo Maxwell. Why the Deathscythe? Well, it is made for close quarters combat and stealth. It tripped out enemies once when it used its beam Scythe under water and of course, after it was destroyed, it only became more fierce when it returned as Deathscythe Hell which had space flight capabilities. Damn, that was one sexy machine I tell you, but I am no match for other Gunpla Veterans out there that spend hours building their favorites or customizing them as their own. Here we are with the opportunity to pilot some of the greats and many of our favorites in Gundam Vs. Beta out for the PlayStation 4 for everyone at least for this past Labor Day weekend. Join me in the pilot seat as we venture off in mech combat.
There have been many times when a person obsession can turn into an ugly ambition. It becomes a noble purpose at first, but then the corruption sets in where those few will do anything to anyone to get what they desire. In this case we have one fighter that is thirsty to learn the secrets of their sensei’s special art and sadly Sekai is in the way of this individual’s ambition for true dominating strength. Gundam Build Fighter Try episode 20 is going to show us the true secret of Jigen Haoh School.
How far would you go for your teammates? Comrades, friends, allies or whatever you call them; can you say you would put in your all to help them succeed? In this episode we see the passion of Sakai evolve from just building Gunpla’s against his rival Yuuma to now engaging fully into Gunpla battles. He is putting his heart and soul shifting gears by showing his true passion as well as strength in the trust of others. That is one heartwarming portion of the story, but on the other side is Gunpla academy and their vicious tactics against other fighters. This is one of those episodes where you see both strength and trust between fighters.
Team Try Fighters are back and ready to go all in this time facing harsher opponents and putting their Gunpla to a true test of their skills. This is the event that they have been waiting for a long time now, but what opposition’s will they have to face and are they truly fired up to face the challenge?
You know, having loyal comrades by your side is a special privilege, especially when you are in dire need of support. In this latest episode of Gundam Build Fighters Try, we see a true story of friendship with deep loyalty for a good cause, while respecting your opponent as an equal. This was a humorous episode, but had a nice moral too it.
There is nothing wrong with a good tactic, but sometimes those tactics feel a bit cheap just to win a battle that is supposed to be fun. In this latest episode of Gundam Build Fighters Try, team Try Fighters are in for a big tactical disadvantage from the Science club of Seiren Technical College. It makes you wonder what can really come out on top when it comes to a battle on an even field, but with rumors of the other team always controlling the battles could make one worry a bit.
One of the things I as taught while training in combat is to know your surroundings and your own limitations. You have to gauge yourself in order to be a better fighter and in the world of Gunpla, it is important to know your Gundam as if it were your own body. In the last episode Sekai learned a valuable lesson in unlocking the true potential of his Gunpla by being synchronized. His new found training to utilize the Jigen Haoh School in all environments to be his Burning Gundam itself. However he will not be the only one to evolve in his skill.
