I am a gamer that enjoyed the 8 bit and 16 bit genre quite well. The best part of this day and age is that those games can be enhanced with smoother controls while keeping to the classic art style. Enter the developers at Corundum Games introducing a new take on top down shooters and drop down puzzle games. I present to you ChromaVaders.

I am a fan of the retro style top-down shooters of my youth and many like Smash TV will always hold a special place in my heart. To Hell with Hell brings back that nostalgia with an added twist of as you the last survivor of the Apocalypse going to hell battling endless swarms of demons in all shapes and sizes just to face Lucifer himself. Can We Do It?

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Review

ShadowJin

My name is Ceeja but, I also go by ShadowJin. I compete in fighting games all over the country. When I'm not doing that I'm either at work, writing a juicy article to share with you or chilling with my girlfriend the family. Side note I'm a huge marvel fan, and I also collect Pop figures.
Favorite games: Devil May Cry Series, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter series, Mortal Kombat series, Tekken(1-7), Marvel vs Capcom series and a few more

What’s up people? It’s ShadowJin here and just last week Capcom released their 30th-anniversary HD collection of the Street Fighter Series. Now I’ve been a huge Street Fighter fan since I was around the age of 3 or 4. I remember having Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting and then Street Fighter 2 New Challengers on Sega. My brother and my Mom would play it from time to time but, I was always on it. So, when this was announced I was already excited to relive those memories. I mean, you get 12 classic Street Fighter games in their original arcade versions and some really cool artwork for those games. How can you not be excited about it? If you pre-ordered it you also got Ultra Street Fighter 4 which is a nice little deal for $40. The big question though is whether it’s worth it or is it just another Capcom quick cash grab?

You can’t have a Zombie Apocalypse without having some metal music roaring in the background. Anything that deals with a Rock Band and zombies trying to eat your flesh has to come with an interesting soundtrack of tunes and some kicka** guns. Welcome ladies and gentlemen to a new style of rhythm game in Double Kick Heroes.

You know why I liked Indie games? Because they have interesting ideas for new titles that you may have never seen before. This latest preview is called Boo! Greedy Kid which reminds me of that old movie Problem Child. I love the disclaimer, in the beginning, saying, “Parents please teach your kids manners!” Then we go into a game where you play a terrible child terrorizing an apartment complex, but there is a nice twist to this game.

I don’t know about you, but I am not much of a fan of someone making a woman cry and then using her tears to open the gates of hell. I mean what kind of example are you trying to state here with a crying woman being blamed bringing hell to earth because of her sorrows? Is that fair? I think not good sir.

I am going to start by saying that Dead Cells reminds me of Strider meets Prince of Persia a bit. That is not a bad thing because both games feature some cool levels, great combat mechanics, and interesting puzzles. The dev diary below will dive deeper to explaining some concerns of the community and gives us a deeper look into the minds that creative this new side-scroll action game. Take a look!

The season of remastered games continues and I guess we might as well embrace it under certain circumstances that is. To me, a remastered title should be like good or rather great directors cut. There should be extra hours of content, new enemies to fight, new levels to conquer and a part of the story added to expand the previous title with a few more hours. A famed classic from the Nintendo Era is making a Jurassic comeback with Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. This title coming from Nightdive Studios will be coming to the steam marketplace on March 16th, 2017.
