Ask any Gamer or rather any Fighting Games player what kind of fight stick they use and they will give you their own personal preference. What I’ve witnessed is many that tell some newcomers the more high-end sticks out there that are more on the Exotic or Muscle Car side of fight sticks. I feel that some need to start off small before they go big. This is just a personal thought, but if you have the means go all out, but for those that want a starter stick then keep reading!
Beast here and last night was a glorious adventure to the Samsung store 837 NYC. They wanted to give us an opportunity to check out their latest gaming tech that will give us that full experience with better picture quality, high-end processor and of course flawless game sessions.
Yup, we received a free controller to review thanks to Brook Games and I just wanted to get that out the way for reasons that people may feel deceived. All right with that being said let’s talk gaming and let’s talk about the tools we use to perform such amazing god-like skills. I have said for years that it is not the controller but the user behind the controller that sets the bar between newb and hardcore gamer. It all comes down to all these different controllers that claim to offer precision inputs and enhances your performance. A few gamers shared the same thought that I did when I was younger, because instead of something that enhances you why not a controller that can be played on all systems like a universal remote? We getting there folks.
It was bound to happen or rather get better. There have been many gaming phones throughout the years Sony had a PlayStation phone and so did Nokia at a time with their taco phone which was weird. Now Razer is coming out with their own gaming smartphone and seems to be quite interesting.
I laughed at the thought when I was younger of a universal controller that can be used on all systems. It was a childhood thought of mine to own that powerful controller where you don’t have to do much configuration and it is just plug in only. I love it when years later you hear one of your ideas become a reality because you get the impression that someone out there with the means feels the same way as you do.
I am starting to appreciate arcade sticks a lot more since going back into fighting games, but it is more about the technical side overhauling it to better fit your needs. Been a while since I went to Video Games NY and checked out their display of parts to build your own stick or enhance one yourself. However, if you can’t there are many choices out there that fit your needs and this new Razer Panthera
Street Fighter V arcade stick exclusively made for the PlayStation 4 would be the one for you.
I am going to get crucified, but whatever! So the Xbox One Scorpio is now called the Xbox One X, so get ready for the X1X short form which is dope sounding already. Now the kicker here was the reveal of the price range that was like pulling teeth for the reveal. The tagline is the XBOX ONE X, “The Most Powerful Console Ever Made!” I gave a side eye too but let’s take a look at those specs.
Soundboards have been a thing for the longest time and most of used to go that extra mile to implement the tech to things that we do like streaming. You kids today have it easy, back in the Justin.tv days I had to buy expensive pieces to broadcast, get a mixer and a streaming device that was the size of a router in order to do what I needed to do. Not to mention fix my computer with better components so it would not blow up while streaming. Jeez, I sound like an old man now. Nowadays you have the luxury of downloadable programs to embed a soundboard into your streams and a small device the size of a cell phone to broadcast your streams. Now Elgato has come out with a new take on soundboards with the Stream Deck.
What is up gamers and welcome to our after thought of yesterday’s Sony reveal. That is right finally got to see the amazing PlayStation 4 pro which is an update to the previous model sporting all the high-end components that most of us gamers were craving. I mean that 4K support am I right? All right, I can’t keep bullsh*tting you fine gamers for too long, I am not all that excited for the 4K support and the 1tb hard drive because like most of us we had that a long time ago. Thankfully I have a special guest BLaZeD_MaNiAc_ sharing her thoughts on the whole Sony upgrade.
