Yes, we are coming to a close for 2018 and it was an interesting year of gaming indeed. However in the words of Luke Cage, “Forward, always Forward!” as we look into what new free games are we to expect for PlayStation Gamers. I for one do hope since PS3 and Vita will no longer have PSPlus free games they will give them some high end freebies.

Persona 3 and Persona 5 Endless Night Collection Review

Hallo! Konichiwa! Hello all gamers, anime fans, and lovers of all things nerdy.
Kikee

Do you like rhythm games? Are you looking for a real Shin Megumi Tensei game (kudos for those who get the reference)? Then I have the game for you! After Persona 4 got a dancing spin-off in the form of P4 Dancing All Night, the good folks over at ATLUS decided it was only natural to follow suit with Persona 5. Even though P3 came out years ago, ATLUS went a step further and decided P3 should get some love and feel the groove. (After all, they did retcon Sho Minazuki into the game years after the fact so why no eh?) Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight will drop just in time for the holiday season! So if you like rhythm games, Persona, or just figuring out what to spend those PSN gift cards you’ll be getting next month. Persona 3 and Persona 5 Endless Night Collection is a great way to close out your 2018 gaming year!

Hmm, are we looking at the end of the PS3 and Vita? This is usually a sign of things that are coming to an end which is weird since the Vita still popping out games and the PS3 is technically living among the PS4 a bit. So what does this mean exactly?

It takes a fellowship to take down a conniving power that is running rampant across the land. What would you do if you had the ability to save a nation? It will take more than just one kingdom to fight the good fight against the imperial army. However, it will literally take about an hour and a half just to fight some monkey’s in the darn forest and then another few hours just to get to another gameplay scene. I guess the imperial empire just needs a good talking too before we get into some combat! Welcome to this review of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth coming to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita and oh boy are we in for a long ride.

I will not sugar coat it that I have been salty with the free games for PlayStation Plus for a while now. However, since the beginning of Spring 2017 they have stepped up their game giving away some decent titles for free. This time around we have the August line up that will impress you.

A little song and dance to bring us closer together~

Everyone’s favorite A.I. (Artificial Idol) is back with all her friends to bring more rhythm and joy into our lives. To be honest, I haven’t played a good rhythm game since my DDR days, and I was never the best at moving my feet. Luckily this game is all about finger speed and timing so I enjoyed it immensely. Miku returns in the new Hatsune Miku Project Diva X for the Playstation 4, with cross-play for the PSVita.

Prepare to rage when you play this game. That is right gamers I am going straight into this review with a warning because Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is not just a name, oh no it is actual fact! I mean come on developer…you are not getting with that damn title at all. This will be that game to make you break a controller in half, but not really since they are freaking expensive. Let’s get into this review.

Samurai Warriors 4 Empires Review

Hallo! Konichiwa! Hello all gamers, anime fans, and lovers of all things nerdy.
Kikee

It’s that time of year folks! Another installment of the warriors’ series, this time the samurai are up to bat in Koei/Techmo’s Samurai Warriors 4 Empires. Since I’ve played every Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Orochi, Empires, and Xtreme Legends K/T has to offer, I went in with a harsh mindset. After the “okay” Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires, the awful Samurai Warriors anime, and the “eh” of Samurai Warriors 4-II I was worried about this upcoming installment but excited at the same time. It was kind of like starting a new job sorta thing. But nevertheless SW4E has appeased my soul.

Why in the hell can’t we obtain certain imported titles to become domestic? There have been so many amazing games that could have been something on US consoles, but thanks to contracts or whatever other corporate reasons we are not able to have them imported outside of going to a special store and translating the games ourselves to play. Now coming to the PlayStation Vita is an awesome looking beat’em up called Uppers. Let’s take a look.
