Hallo! Konichiwa! Hello all gamers, anime fans, and lovers of all things nerdy.

With all the disappointment in the gaming industry going around these days, it makes me wonder how we gamers haven’t started going full on emo yet. After the huge disappointment SF5 presented to me, I often wondered if I should stop hyping myself up and actual spoil games for myself from now on. Dodge the “bullet of disappointment” so to speak. But right when the gaming world is looking bleak BAM! Odin Sphere swoops and saves the day! Shining it’s light down upon gamers reminding us of a time when games were made for fun instead of money. So hold off on the skinny jeans and the lip ring cuz Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is a unique gaming experience that will satisfy all expectations of what a great game should be!

Tales of Zestiria Review

Hallo! Konichiwa! Hello all gamers, anime fans, and lovers of all things nerdy.

I have been playing the Tales of series for quite some time now. I started off on Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube back when I was in middle school and have played most of them since then. With that being said I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of the series. After the disappointment of the last installment (Xilla 1 and 2), Tales of Zestoria is what could be Tales of Ultimatum for not just myself, but a lot of the fanbase in general. However Tales of Zestiria aims to please and although it doesn’t disappoint, it misses the mark on a few major elements.

You know what I love most about the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 3? The fact that they finally decided to add a co-op option and frankly speaking I would of been okay with just two player co-op, but they went that extra mile and added four players. This pleases me because I have my own squad that would be fun in a four player story campaign and this also enhances the replay value, especially on veteran mode.

This weekend was more than just New York Comic Con, because once the doors close what are you going to do next? After parties that’s what and lucky enough I help out Video Games New York with their Sexy Nerds parties that bounce around, but the best part is the interaction with fellow gamers, geeks, nerds and cosplayers. Nothing like taking the time to unwind, get your drink on and play some new and classic video games. This time around the party was located at Frames NYC, That is right a bowling alley took us in and it was a blast.

Lost Dimension is one of those JRPGs that might have flown under the radar of many people. While the genre has some well known titles such as Final Fantasy and the Tales series, there is a lot of niche games that never make it to western shores, and those that do are not marketed or written a lot about. On the surface, Lost Dimension looks like a run-of-the-mill RPG. The anime box art with protagonists that look like teenagers makes the game look like the average game you’d expect. But looking past the box art and standard plot there are some twists that makes this game stand out. In your party of protagonists there are traitors that are plotting against you. These traitors are selected randomly at the start of each new game, so you will never be able to predict how things will play out. Put that together with a strategic combat system, and you are looking at a game that is trying some new things while still feeling familiar. But is Lost Dimension overreaching in its ambitions, or does it succeed?

As some of you may remember the previous post I’ve done about video game enhancements and how they can be fair and unfair. Since the days of turbo controllers there have been preferences in making your gaming experience have a slight advantage. However this Magic Stick from Brook is legit to me because it can help with those input problems that most of us have and give you the chance to use preferred controllers on the Xbox One. Sadly there is no converter for the PlayStation 4 and so far no reason as of yet has shown up. To go more in-depth on this nifty USB device that works for both PC and Xbox One, please check out the video below as I’ve asked my cousin who owns an Xbox One to test the device out. While I, Kuma use the device on the PC.
